On Wednesday, February 4, TSEU members representing Human Services caucus came to Austin for their Mini Lobby Day. Union members met with their elected leaders at the Capitol to discuss issues specific to our Human Services Caucus.
Those legislators spoken with seemed receptive to our issues: Pensions and Health Care, Staffing, and limitations on Contracting out Services. Our meetings did show that our fight for better pay will be a tough one, but we will keep up the pressure on this issue.
