UTMB Employees:
1. Join TSEU
Fill out the TSEU membership application now. Our strength comes from our membership, and we need to be strong & organized to push back against decision makers in Galveston and in Austin. Payroll deduction and bank draft forms are both available.
2. Get Involved
Spread the word with your coworkers, family, friends & neighbors. We need to involve community groups, churches, temples, and other concerned citizens to build a real grassroots movement to save UTMB and keep accessible healthcare in Galveston.
Community Members
1. Stand with TSEU
Groups and organizations can pass resolutions or statements opposing the proposed cuts at UTMB, and work with TSEU on pressuring decision makers to keep accessible healthcare in Galveston. Draft statements will be available through the TSEU website. Individuals can contact elected leaders, urging them not to cut residents off from the healthcare they need.
2. Spread the word
We need to build a broad coalition of groups and individuals that are willing to stand up for keeping healthcare available for all Texans, not just those who have good insurance or deep pockets. Talk to your friends and neighbors, we’ll need their support and energy to win.
